All of the examples below are of a large green pyramid making the first
move of the game.
All pieces are set in their starting positions as shown in Figure 2.
The moving piece will end up in the space marked
| This is a legal move. The large green pyramid jumps its own piece as the first part of the move, then moves up the border territory twice, for a total of 3 spaces of movement. | |
| This is an illegal move. The large green pyramid jumped its own
piece (that was fine) but it landed on its own medium green piece in the
process.
You may not stack on your own color, even as part of your move. |

| This is an illegal move. The large green pyramid jumped its own
piece, then jumped a medium clear pyramid to land, however briefly, on
a medium clear pyramid, trapping it momentarily.
You may not trap a piece in its own home territory, even as part of a move. |

| This is an illegal move. The green pyramid made a turn in the middle of its jump. Jumps must be made along straight lines. It should have ended up in the border space between the small green and the medium yellow where the end of the first white arrow is. |
