Normal stacking. This is just fine. Note that each color can move any of their pieces in all these circumstances. If you can touch it, you can move it. |

Illegal. You may not stack directly on your own color, even as part of a move. |

Normal trapping. This may cause a guard exchange to occur. Note that in the third example, the medium blue is trapped by the large yellow and the small green is trapped by both of the larger pieces. Remember that you may not trap a piece in its own home territory. |

This is a stack and a trap. Note that the medium red piece is trapping the small green piece, but not the small blue piece. It may be trapping the small yellow piece, depending on your set of Icehouse pieces. Remember the basic rule: if you can touch it, you can move it. If you can't touch it, it is trapped. |
